Brenda wanted to be an actress ever since she can remember... writing and performing her own skits in the vacant lots of the trailer park where she grew up as a child in Pennsylvania.

She also studied dance for many years with a dream of becoming a NYC Rockette or ... creating a complete ballet show to rock music! Those dreams were cut short when at age 19, she was a survivor of a brutal kidnapping and rape.
Brenda credits her family, therapy, SNL and her horses Cherokee & Ginger for helping her through years of recovery and depression... finding her way back to dance which played a huge role in her recovery.

After going through a divorce, dealing with health concerns requiring hospital stays and surgeries, Brenda put her focus on a film/television career, traveling back and forth to Philly, New Jersey, New York and Dc for auditions. Being a single Mom at the time, the travel and time commitment became very difficult.
Brenda decided to put that creative side of her life in the backseat for a number of years.
Until a friend dared her to go to an audition at a local community theatre.
She took that dare!
That's when she found her love for the theatre. That 1st audition, she was cast in 3 roles and never looked back! Brenda studied acting at Open Stage of Harrisburg and is a Meisner trained actor with over 16 years of stage acting.
She is known for completely immersing herself in a character, drawing you in with her raw vulnerability as well as her comedic abilities.
She has been fortunate to play many strong female lead roles. Including her most recent performance as Medusa... in which she received a great review in "Broadway World".
Her favorite comedic performance was playing Pamela in Fox on the Fairway with the traveling theatre group The Blue Ridge Theatre Guild.

Brenda is now pursuing her 1st love of film and television as an older adult because "Why not?!" It's only too late if you stop trying!"
She has a love of strong complex characters and stories, underdog characters, Faith and family stories, period dramas (she can do a British accent!), Romantic comedies, Sci Fi/Fantasy and of course she would love to be cast on Law and Order and Hallmark films and tv!

Brenda is also a licensed massage therapist, has her own practice and works part time giving massages to seniors.
She loves hiking, horseback riding, spending time with her rescue dogs Xena & Archie, painting kindness rocks and listening to her son Brayden Frazier play music. He is an aspiring and talented singer/songwriter/guitarist.
